Day 1
Woke up today at 6.00am, was so reluctant to leave the beloved civilized Singapore for Brunei. But then if I dun leave for Brunei, I have to pay $1000, LOL. NO WAY MY FATHER IS GONNA PAY. So my family made our way to Changi Airport for breakfast.
Had breakfast at macs, last fastfood in Singapore before not having it for the next 12 days. Met the whole OB people and get ready to leave fro Brunei. Went into the departure hall and blogged, which is the previous entry. Went into the plane at around 10.55, Royal Brunei Airplane.
Halfway thru the flight, got food to eat. YIPEE! So touchdown at who-god-knows-wat time. So then took a ‘bus’, more of a van, to the dunno wat place.
Then we got split up,one go for water activities first, then one go Temburong Jungle. So me went to water activities, which is at Serasa. Currently, we are pitching tents at a place wif electricity, so its not apart from civilization after all.
Ok, got make 4 new frens, called Edward, Wei Jie, Nicholas, Jing Rong. Damn Crappy. Talk out of the blue, and super random stuff. Eg. We were asking for each others contact when suddenly the conversation changed into doraemon and pokemon. =_=.
Practically did nth today jus come here and find out our groups and pitch tents, and talking cock, so I end here. Bye.
Day 2
Got people say i look lik Harry Potter once again. Woohoo!! This time is a Bruneian, called Dinah. Couldnt sleep last night, actually I didnt even know whether i slepy, jus know tat i couldnt sleep for quite long, dunno how long. So got 'woken' up at 4.30am by the Bruneians as they were singing songs so loud. So when after flag-raising, went for PT, which was jogging, Breakfast next, and then ice-breaker games. Very fun, shall not elaborate on tat.
After games, time for kayaking practice. Bloody hell, the sun was damn bright, shining on us like eggs on a frying pan. Now i am as red as a lobster, and its like oni me who get sun burn!!! Sianz, tmw still got an expedition to an island which is so near but yet so far.
After kayaking, the weather suddenly turned completely, from sizzling hot to a super hurricane. Its seriously super windy, something which you will not be able to experience in singapore. I named the super windy wind, lol sounds weird but who cares, ''Hurricane Brunei''. It was like the end of the world, a few ppl said.
Currently, now doing nth, playing dai dee in the tent. Yay. Shall update the 3rd day.
Day 3
Woke up again at who-god-knows-wat time as oni 2 ppl hav a watch. Ridiculous, y cant everyone hav a watch. Today we are going to kayak to a nearby island, Actually not tat nearby. So we set off at around 8am. Kayaking to me is like the stupidest sport ever la. I kayaked for like around 3 hrs, and i got a super duper sunburnt, and it made me look like a lobster which all of them are calling me now. Lol. Kayaking make me very easily agitated, maybe is due to the sun and me being tired. So i say sorry to the person paddling wif me.
Reached the island at around 11++am, knew the time from Yazid, the time keeper. So we cut short the distance, as there were dark clouds, and go to some place where there are ang mohs pitching tents too. We finish pitching tents and then went to play in the sea, The place we kayaked was a river, but it is like so fucking big, like 10 times bigger than singapore river. OMFG.
The sea is super cool. the wave is super duper ultra duper big. thrice the size of the wave in Wild Wild Wet. We played until dam shiok and dam fun, until Rebekah, oh my tent which consists of me, Wei Guang, Edward, Wei Jie, Nicholas and Jing Rong got to know the girls tent, i oso dunno remember how. Anyways, she scared of the sun, want go put sunblock. So then the other instructor found out and ask us cannot play there.
Then we got up and do nothing, waiting for the Bruneians to cook finish. So stoned there and TCS for hrs. Then we went to bathe too. The toilet, er more of jus a piece of cloth being surrounded around us, was ugh. The shit hole, as it names represents, is jus a hole being dug from the ground. Then we had to bathe using water gallons we kayaked wif. Lol. I swear on my dick tat i will nvr go back in there again. Yay. And i didnt.
So we talked all the way till dinner. The dinner cooked by the Bruneians was super nice. They helped us to cook, we helped them to wash the cutlery. Yep, must help each other ma. Oh Oh. I remember, got one part at night, Rebekah wans to go toilet, then she dun dare go in cos it is way deep in. Lol, i dun think most of us will dare too. So we had a mass peeing parade near the beach. Boys first, then Rebekah and Kim. This is the night where we managed to squeeze 10 ppl into one tent and we tcs in there. Taught them NCC sick songs. Lol. All thx to Edward man. So Gdnite.
Day 4
Paddled back from the island to Serasa, very tiring, but den surprisingly, it turn out tat we travelled faster than when we went. The overall distance is 9km there and 9km back, so its like 18km altogether. Wow. Maybe even longer cos we made a detour yesterday. So, we went back and quickly wash the kayaks. But i 4got to take out my water gallon and it went missing. I told Uncle Jamil, my instructor tat it went missing and he looked super pissed. He said tat it cost $16, i stunned! One bloody plastic container need $16?!?!?!? But in the end he asked me nt to lose another one, if not really must pay, sianz. Now must be super careful.
The shiokest part of today is the 'sea palne' we took. The boats sped damn fast la. And the boat turned at super sharp turns, which make it look like almost perpendicular to the water surface. I jus found out tatt the boat ride was actually 45 mins, but then i slept on the boat, and it only felt like 20 mins. There was one part, where i held onto the railing above me so when i slept, my hand released and i hit Jing Rong on his head. Lol. Damn funny la.
We reached the campsite, and in fact we came from hell to heaven. In serasa, the place is like UGH!, but here, there is a room for us, and proper toilet. For the other grp it is from heaven to hell. LOL!
Day 5
Yesterday, couldnt sleep once again becos the Bruneians were making so much noise lol. Then we got one pack of poker cards confiscated all becos of Ken. Ken is from Damang Sari, another group whereas i am from Patih Tuba. Stupid Ken, go shout so loud when the instructor is jus outside. Zzz. Also when i was about to sleep, the fire drill started. bloody hell. But luckily only for a while, then i got knocked out suddenly again
Today, woke up late for flag raising becos our 'alarm clock' not working. The 'alarm clock' is supposedly to be the bruneians singing in the morning, but then dun hav any so yea. By the time i reach there, the anthem had finished. Zzz. After the anthem, we then went swimming in a stream. Stream means smaller river, which is bigger than the one in singapore by a little. DAMN SHIOK!!! The water is damn freaking cold, and the current is very fast, and we went swimming in it, damn fun.
After our swimming, we went to bukit patoi for our abseiling session. we hike all the way up 1500m and go for abseiling, its around 50m down. Overall its quite fun la, but then stupid thing is hav to hike down.
Went back to the campsite and went for orienteering, its damn stupid. Me and nicholas were a team, and the stupid checkpoints are liks somewhere in the forest who god knows where and is like so muddy and slippery, amke me fall down and down many many many times. Zzz. Actually nvr do much, but tmw will be jungle trekking, and the backpack is super heavy. Once fall down cannot stand up LOL. Now prepare to sleep. CIAOS.
Day 6
Yay, now i m in the middle of our route to jungle trekking, and we are stopping for our lunch, so take this chance to blog now.
Jus went for jungle trekking at 8.02am and all the way to 11++ am which is now. At the start, we took great difficulties to cross as the ground was full of mud, therefore super difficult to cross, and rebekah took super long to go, haha. Then halfway it gets better and better each time, so it become very easy. One part of the trip turned out tat we were tcsing on the way. lol. Like thomas the train, Barney and Jay Jay the Jet plane, oso got bob the builder. Saying which kids show is the best. Then one by one start to fall, so stop talking liao.
Then there was a place where almost all of us fell, even the Bruneians fell. Ok shall stop for now, lata at night cont.
Ok VOLA!! Im back already. Now is night time. Jus had our field cooking, and me, rebekah and weijie share a lot of food. We had beef lasagna. its made from canned corned beef and maggie mee. Then had sardine, baked beans oso. Super fun. Yay. But then got nothing much to do, we went into the stream, damn shiok. Oops i missed out, weijie wants me to write tat he cooked the beef.
Ok, now we are deciding to put tablet into the river water or go boil water. we decided to use tablet instead. So actually jus jungle trekked the whole day. And then tmw will white water raft back, gonna be so fun. So now is like 6 ppl share a 4 men tent. WTF?!?!? Cos we 4got to carry our tent. Den uncle Jamil super kao bei us, knn, say we always wan the Bruneians to help, but then we nvr always rely on them. Bloody hell. Anyways, cant sleep now, so the 6 of us, nicholas, me, weijie, wei guang, edward and jing rong tot of a song.

Day 7
Ooh. Woke up and then did white water rafting/ kayaking. I had nvr done white water rafting before, so i am looking forward to this new experience. The kyak, more or an inflated rubber boat consists of 2 ppl, one s'porean and one bruneian. So me and dinah shared a boat and we went.
The rapids there were quite strong, there was one part where the rapids was super stron, the water all splash onto me. Damn fun. Dinah was scared, lol. After white water fafting, we den prepared for out solo night. Solo night was super duper scary. It was totally darka t night and we are supposed to be sleeping alone. U place ur fingers in front of u oso cannot see. I m super duper scared of the dark as you all know.
Now, i m very relieved i had finished my solo night. We had to build our own tent, and so suay, when we were building, it was raining super duper heavily. Then we had to sleep drenched leh. Zzz. And the tent is jus a groundsheet on the floor covered by poncho. I wanted to 'geng' tat i hav gastrits, but in the end decided not to. I woke up like 5 + times and each time i tot its like going to be daybreak, but in the end, the night is like super long. haiz. it took me great courage to pass thru it. So Congrats to me. Happy to be going back s'pore soon.
Day 8
Woke up at around 7.00 today. Knew the time as Edward woke my up and we went llok for Edora. then we started walking around to find Jing rong and so on.. Sooner or later, everyone came and joined together, me, edward, jing rong, nicholas and alta become wif dinah, rebekah...blah blah blah..
Then suddenly when i was about to go back and unpitch my tent, then uncle Jamil came and started questioning us y we moved about. Then soon later we all left the jungle. yay. so happy. Then later we did flying fox for the rest of the day, and also played kampung style soccer. I like the flyin fox. As mine i did it when it was raining. So i flew over the Temburong river when it was raining. Very fun.
However the kamupng style soccer damn rough. Cannot touch the ball one. U touch the ball, turn around, u can see 3 people charging towards u. Omg. I didnt dare to touch the ball sia. Also i got abrasions on my inner thighs, so i didnt move much as it was super pain. Final score 2-2 Ken conceded a goal for us. Thx.
Lata, played tug-of-war. fought wif each other, very fun. After dinner had a talking session. Called Joeharry. so we are supposed to say things about the person who is holding a toy. And the person being talked about cant speak.
My comment given is tat i looked like HP, once again, super gay, friendly and talk lots of cock. Lol. Haha. Then i bought a shirt for $18.00. Tmr will be out of Temburong jungle yay!
Day 9
Couldnt sleep in the middle of the night, therefor i woke nicholas up and asked hm to talk to me, but den he said he super sleepy and then jus went back to sleep. Finally went to sleep, but then so soon, it was 5.40 and our whole bunk was almost late for flag raising, but fortunately we made it.
After breakfast, its journey all the way to some place i dunno where i am. Now sleeping on mattresses and pillow. Previously was on wooden plank. Doin nth, playing bridge in the rooms. nicholas jus used a 2 trump[ to win an ace of clubs, and furhtermore the person is like after him. So dumb. Must understand bridge to understand this.
Ok now is already night time, Hys now i did a try run for the 7km we will be running tmw. Super tiring, i felt like cursing halfway. But didnt. Didnt wan to repeat wat i did in the store room of Temburong jungle. Lol, i was super hyper tat day and started jus cursing for no reason. But in a fun way though.
Sang super sick songs along the way, wif ken, sean, Weiguang, Nicholas, and oso the girls , Ain, Rebekah, Ariel are like listening and laughing to it. Tsk Tsk Tsk, bad girls. Ain and Ariel are from Damang Sari so u wouldnt hear their name be4. One thing bout Ariel. OMFG. SHE IS LIKE SO BLOODY TALL. TALLER BY KEN BY LIKE 2 HEADS!!! 174cm. WOW! More than me by like 4cm. OMG. Girl so tall oso not gd.
Then, we had our dinner in an air-conditioned room. Woo hoo! So long got no aircon, apart from the one in the Temburong store room. Then later we went to discuss bout the performance we will be giving. Singaporeans chose the song graduation and the Bruneians created a song i think. Their song is super nice and our song like spoil the nice nice song. But nvm, jus GAMBATTE!
Ok trying to learn the song 'Gerang Sepaku Gerang'. Sianz, must know it well. Also, uncle Jamil bought ice-cream for all of us. i think i may hav changed the thinking towards him. Maybe he is jus serious during course and will be slack after course. Anyways, tmw is shopping day. yay!
Day 10
Today is such a shiok day. We went to the biggest shopping mall in Brunei, and guess wat, its called 'The Mall'. Wat a creative name it is right? The mall has many shops which sells super duper cheap stuffs, but i think it is imitation. The DVDs are definitely pirated as it is sold at $2 per piece. Then the adidas sirt is like $30 only, Levis jeans at half price so its l;ike $35 oni. Wanted to buy, but didnt bring enuff money.
So went shoping around wif like 8 boys 1 girl. me ken, Wei guang, edward, Weijie, nicholas, Jingrong, Jian Yu, Jin Zhi and Rebekah. Walked around before eating Pizza hut. Didnt touch fastfood for like dunno how long. I ate prawn liguni and ordered french fries. I oso watched 'I Am Legend' By will smith already. It has already started showing there, and u s'poreans need to wait until christmas. HAHAHAHA.
I was super freaked out la, as u know i m super timid one. If i know the movie was bout zombies beforehand, i wont even go and watch. However i rate it around 3.5/5. Average movie. In the end i nvr buy anything. Only bought 4 packs of gum. Sianz. i also find our tat i am chosen to make a speech on the closing ceremony tmw on behalf of all the s'poreans. Dun even know y i got chosen. Haiz, so just finished doing the speech wif Jian Yu, so am dam sleepy now. *Yawns* Gdnites.
Day 11
Lol. The beds here are so comfy compared to the last 10 days, and it is making us waking up lata and lata. Yesterday was 5.45, today it was 6.05 am. Luckily there wasnt any flag raising, and morning pt. But it was soccer in the morning. Yay. Pateh Tuba rocks and they won all the other teams. Girls went play netball, and Pateh Tuba combined wif Damang Sari to thrash the other 2 groups 9-2. So, Pateh Tuba no. 1!! I oso found out tat we are actually first for the jungle trekking breaking the other previous courses record.
Haha. Cos we got a very cooperative team. So after breakfast, we went to visit 3 museums, bloody super boring. But the mannequins there are freaking scary. If solo night there, i think i will die la. After museum, went to another mall, but didnt shop much as we didnt hav much time. But be glad Danial and David, i bought teddy bears for u all. Cos didnt know wat to buy, hope u all like it and dun find it too girly XD.
Jus did finish my speech and performance. was so bloody nervous, but i think i pull it off quite well. tats wat the other ppl say not bad. Received my OBBD cert. so happy, as i had officially completed the course. Certificate!! Not cerfiticate!! Ahh! I always say wrongly. Tmw i will be back in s'pore. I am starting to not wanting to leave this place and leave my frens.
Day 12
Came back from Brunei. I M SO FREAKING SAD LA. I ACTUALLY CRIED. I CRIED!! WHEN I WAVED BYE TO THE BRUNEIANS I ACTUALLY CRIED. I ACTUALLY MISS THEM. I FELT LIKE DUN WAN TO LEAVE TAT PLACE. I WAN TO BE WIF MY FRENS. MY FRENS WHOM I MADE OVER AT BRUNEI.
But then i hav to leave. I hav to come back to Singapore. Now i miss my frens. All the ppl of OBBD. Pls meet together some day, and let our frenship nvr end!!
